The Branch, Beau’s Beer and A Brewer Named Bartle.

With Ontario Craft Beer Week coming up there is so much to do and so little time. One event however caught my attention, specifically because it’s being held in my hometown. The Branch Restaurant & Texas Grill are teaming up with Beaus for a five course beer dinner!

The Branch, Beau’s Beer and A Brewer Named Bartle

“Five courses of flavour! Beau’s brewer Andrew Bartle will be onsite to make sense of each beer and why it matches each bite. The impressive beer line-up features a cask of summer seasonal Festivale Altbier, The Rudolphus VI Belgian IPA, Burnt Rock Vanilla Porter and a Tom Green curated Milk Stout.  Menu highlights include our classic ‘Champagne and Oysters’ with Lug Tread batter and mignonette; a grilled endive Caesar with 4-year old Gouda, vanilla-lavender aioli and house-smoked pork; a Thai influenced Moule Frite; a ‘Roadkill’ Irish Stew (…guess what that’s paired with!); and, of course, our take on ‘Spotted Dick’…”

Tickets for the event are $59 per person, reservations can be made by contacting The Branch at 613-258-3737.

From the countless times I’ve been to The Branch, I know this will be a great event.
